TIM LABENDA’s Autumn/Winter collection 2013/14 »NACHTWANDLER« reflects the contrast between an energetic lifestyle and the possibility of deceleration. The living in metropols like New York is very intense and modern urban men need the possibility to relaxe and enjoy life in such never sleeping cities. For the designer New York is one of the most impressive metropols. It lives from its charming washed out atmosphere in contrast to its still modern character. All of the slightly used elements in the city, like exposured water tanks on the roofs, rusty frontages and bridges, or old tracks that becoming new life-giving parks, are what the city defines. This maturity contrast to a reflecting modern architecture in it’s very straight Bauhaus way turns out as a very energetic and inspiring environment.

The collection is designed with the intention to satisfy the needs and demands of those cosmopolit men. The TIM LABENDA guy is travelling a lot, loves his life in his beloved city and catches up with it’s energy. But at the same time he has a deep desire for beeing isolated to get the time to be as self reflected as he wants to be. A very keen on fashion guy, but in a very self evident way. He always looks authentically dressed, without having the impression of him, spending hours in front of a mirrow thinking about his look. His look is sharp, classy and sophisticated. Mixed with casual pieces that allow him that kind of timeout in this racy environment, New York. The collection has the approach to be a modern classic menswear collection, suitable for a hybrid customer that loves New York as much as Tim does.
