»Sitting in the front row it’s easy to witness what’s coming down the aisle – well, if it’s right in front of you. But to see what’s happening a little further away, you have to change your position or turn your head. As DERZEIT, we strongly recommend making this extra effort. If Fashion Week Berlin’s venues were a city map, the tent would be at its center and anything beyond Mitte would seem like some kind of hinterland. Walk the streets of Neukölln (finally up-and-coming, yes!) with photographer Oliver Eglin – he’s shot a series of boys’ portraits for DERZEIT – and you’ll realize: Neukölln is actually not that far off.
