This Toga Brooch from A/W 2011/12 is made from rayon and features a speckled brown mosaic pattern constructed from aluminium that covers both the front and back of the brooch. The brooch can be attached to items of clothing using a brass pin situated on the middle of the brooch at the back.
Japanese designer Yasuko Furuta launched Toga in 1997. Alluding to the Greek origin of the name, meaning ›draped clothing‹, Toga is characterised by its deconstructed, urban silhouettes rendered in exclusive fabrics.
