After taking over QVEST magazine in May 2009, Kaune, Sudendorf Publishing GmbH has concentrated on enhancing the magazine’s content as well as optimising its structure – successfully: In 2011 QVEST will be released six times. Furthermore, an iPad-application is planned for the next publication date. On top of that the online presence qvest.de will be further developed and complemented by an international site in English.
Michael Kaune – editor-in-chief and publisher since issue #38 – is committed to following a clear and consistent magazine structure which at the same time leaves enough space for further discovery: »The magazine has matured just the right amount. Aside from the additional music and book recommendations, as well as the QVEST City guide ›At home in:‹ we have especially focused on continuing to develop and extending the cosmetics, jewellery/accessories and
automotive segments. We consecutively pay special attention to the quality of the photo shoots – which are produced throughout the world. By continuously developing the magazine, QVEST is now positioned as a classic fashion magazine, aimed at an international audience, and is placed as such in stores.
Five issues with a 192-page volume each will be published initially in 2011. Additionally the publishing house will be releasing a new ›QVEST EDITION‹ for the first time since 2008. The approximately 400-page long, oversized publication’s focus will be ›ART&FASHION‹. It will be presented within the course of the Art Cologne VIP opening event on April 12, 2011, which QVEST is organising.
